We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Manual Machinist specializing in Lathe and Mill operations to join our team. As a Manual Machinist, you will play a critical role in the production of precision parts used in various industries.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate manual lathes and mills to fabricate parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to determine machining operations, dimensions, and tolerances.
• Select and install appropriate cutting tools, attachments, and fixtures for the machines.
• Perform machine adjustments and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the machining process.
• Monitor machining operations to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
• Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality.
• Maintain and clean machines, tools, and work area to ensure a safe and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with the production team to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Manual Machinist, specializing in Lathe and Mill operations.
• In-depth knowledge of manual machining techniques, tools, and equipment.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong ability to set up and operate manual lathes and mills independently.
• Skilled in selecting appropriate cutting tools, attachments, and fixtures.
• Familiarity with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
