Position Summary :

This entry-level position at the world’s leader of spray technology supports our skilled manufacturing team through machining precision components on CNC Machine Centers and CNC Turning Centers. This second-shift position comes with the opportunity to learn and grow from an entry-level CNC Machinist, to a career in manufacturing including (but not limited to) Machinist set-up, operation, and programming, sanitary polishing, and quality assurance.

Requirements:

High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Mechanical Assembly and Blueprint Reading is a plus Teamwork skills and good attitude

Responsibilities/Duties:

(may include, but not limited to) Working in conjunction with team members and center leader to: machine parts for orders, read blueprints and verify part accuracy, and work with the Team Support Coordinator to prioritize components required to finish orders Gain knowledge and experience of all aspects in our production center including: deburring operations, laser marking, moving mechanical assemblies, different machinist positions, and QA part inspection. Participating in our continuing improvement program which includes: collaboration with other departments, departmental meetings to discuss areas for growth, improvement, time-saving projects, ROI on new equipment and supply purchases, and strong teamwork skills.
