Manual Machine Operator 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars Pell City, AL 35125 Diversified Sourcing Solutions is looking to add CNC Operators in Pell City, AL Summary Responsible for programming, operating and maintaining CNC machining equipment. This includes programming, loading and unloading of machines, operating the machines, cleaning and maintaining the machines as directed. Machines included are CNC lathes, CNC mills, and end mills, and other types of equipment required to perform this job. This individual is responsible for helping to ensure timely deliveries and a quality product. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Extensive use of equipment and machinery associated with the assigned job task. Establish good communications and working rapport with team members to help ensure a high level of customer service is delivered. A high level of attention to detail is essential. Write programs in M and G code for the CNC equipment. Experience with Fanuc Controls. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form. Ability to read blueprint/drawing, write and edit CNC programs and trouble shoot CNC problems. Make program adjustments and alter set-up on CNC equipment. Set-up and operate CNC lathes, and mills. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Perform routine maintenance on equipment. Ability to effectively interpret and translate instructions to other employees in a professional and respectful manner. Read a tape measurer, micrometer and understand engineered drawings. Lift 50 pounds. Stand continuously for an 8-hour shift with overtime as required by company. Apply verbal and written communication skills to communicate important issues to management and co-workers. Continually exhibit the qualities of trustworthiness, a strong work ethic, and positive attitude. Manage and organize own work while remaining a team player and handling other assigned tasks as required by the company. Perform extra assignments in other areas and related task assignments in the work area. Regular, consistent attendance is a requirement. Available to work overtime as required by the company.
