• Performs a variety of duties to move materials, supplies, and finished goods to designated places in the facility or onto and off of trucks. Required to obtain and maintain Powered Industrial Vehicle license.

Demonstrate the ability to satisfactorily perform in one (1) Material Handler job within a twelve (12) month period. 2. Ability to receive and understand verbal and written technical instructions and respond in English. 3. The ability to read and interpret information from factory orders, routings and other internal documentation in hard copy or electronic formats. 4. Function safely in an industrial manufacturing setting where factory physical conditions exist, including shift work as required. 5. Attendance and punctuality to company standards. 6. Use the overhead crane/hoist. 7. Maintain certification to operate forklifts and other powered industrial vehicles as required. 8. Meet quality and productivity requirements. 9. Follow all safety procedures.

• PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• 1.

The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. close to the body and 35 lbs. away from the body 60% of the time. More than 50 lbs. 40% of the time with assistance. 2. The ability and willingness to use the company designated personal protective equipment. 3. Visual acuity (corrected) to read directions, prints and gauges. 4. Frequent bending, stooping, twisting and lifting (assisted and unassisted). 5. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. 6. Ability to work in the factory environment (concrete floor, heat, cold, noise, allergies, etc.) 7. Physically highly repetitive in nature.

• Education and Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivaled (GED)
• Basic computer skills as defined by the company
• Powered Industrial Vehicle Certifications as required
• DOT Hazmat and Security Awareness Training
• Fall Protection Training
