SECTION 1

JOB SUMMARY• Entry support individual contributor that executes tasks, following a defined standard output or set of procedures. Provides support for internal teams in the Manufacturing Assembly area. Closely follows established administrative processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of deliverables. Maintains high standards of professionalism, efficiency, personal communication, discretion, and independent judgment. Responsible for using equipment for the assembly and processing tasks to produce finished products according to established specifications. Accountable for adhering to all quality and safety guidelines. Operator is responsible for sampling, testing, dispositioning, final release and transfer of needles to shipping. Some troubleshooting and maintenance of test equipment is required.

SECTION 2

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES• In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position: Completes tasks for the support function of the Manufacturing Assembly area under direct supervision, and closely follows established administrative processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of deliverables. Cleans and conducts maintenance tasks based on best practices in the industry in order to foster a safe working environment. Installs components of basic in-process products, assemblies, or sub-assemblies on the assembly line. Builds competency with routine machinery under direct supervision. Records daily assembly production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis. Demonstrates Johnson & Johnson’s Leadership Imperatives and Credo. Set up, operate and trouble shoot ECNT equipment. Set up, operate and trouble shoot ECNT robotic equipment. Pull samples and perform penetration testing on all needle types. Review and interpret process graphs. Key in data and perform CIM transaction. Train associates to perform ECNT testing. Perform Attribute testing on PS, Cardio, and General Line Needles. Train associates to perform E2-Attribute Testing Perform E2-Attribute Testing on PS, Cardio, and General Line Needles Screen defective needles out with or without magnification. Screen 6 and 8 mil with an aid of a microscope. Sort and prepare supplies for boxing operation. Train associates to scan/screen needles. Operates production equipment to produce subassemblies or finished products. Interprets instructions and specifications and uses to set up equipment. Checks products on assembly line to confirm that they are properly assembled and removes defective products. Cleans and maintains equipment as needed. Notifies supervisor of maintenance and/or repairs needed on equipment. Prepares accurate records/documentation related to quality and work in progress. Troubleshoots minor production problems. Comply with all federally regulated programs. Adhere to J&J environmental and safety policies and guidelines. Comply with all job specific safety procedures and utilize PPE when necessary. Comply with quality system requirements as defined within procedures and instructions. Use test equipment (Starrett Gauge, Mitutoyo Gauge, Microscope, etc.) where applicable. Utilize applicable software systems as needed for the job (e.g. ComplianceWire, ADAPTIV, etc.) Consistently meet required work performance targets (RE’s), if applicable. Support LEAN and Six Sigma Initiatives. Support Maintenance Excellence (ME2), including 6S and Operator Asset Care. Accurately complete records as defined within the job procedures (e.g. manual and/or electronic documentation). Perform other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor. Consistently meet required Training due date targets. Support Plant Diversity Process. Ensure safe working conditions and practices in the department. Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable. For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures Performs other duties assigned as needed
