Extruder Machine Operator Premiere Staffing Services INC Turners Falls, MA 01376 Premiere Staffing Services Inc . is currently seeking reliable and motivated Extruder Operators for a temp-to-hire opportunity at a high-tech wire manufacturing company in Turners Falls, MA . This company specializes in electron beam crosslinked thermosets for wire insulation and offers long-term growth opportunities for dependable team members.
Job Responsibilities:
- Accurately mix various components and chemicals to ensure product stability.
- Perform precise machine setups including die placement, temperature, speed, and feed adjustments.
- Transfer compounds using vacuum apparatus into feed hoppers or machines.
- Verify and maintain proper temperatures, wire tension, and operational settings.
- Operate marking/printing machines as required by job specifications.
- Conduct visual inspections and collect product samples to ensure quality standards are met.
- Continuously monitor operations and make real-time adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Report any defective materials, equipment issues, or safety concerns to supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
- Willingness to cross-train and work overtime or Saturdays as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervision.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to push, pull, and lift 50+ lbs.
- Dependable and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening and other screenings.
