Job Description
Objectives + Responsible for the safe operation of various assembly machines. + Operates to ensure effective utilization of machines to maintain production requirements, quality standards and continuously improve the process. + Produce quality parts, on time, in the quantities defined by the production schedule. Principle Duties + Interpret machine prints and product dimension specifications for production. + Complete in-process quality checks with gauges and related quality equipment. + Performs set-up, by determining tooling and wire required, and operates various assembly machines as needed. + Performs preventive maintenance as required. + Properly fill out production reports and other required forms. + Record production transactions including inspections in SAP. + Any other task as directed by supervisor or manager.
