Description Position Responsibilities:
Reads daily schedule; coordinates with Machine Operator on which lots to schedule next.
Checks lot sheets with schedule to verify finish requirements with current set up.
Maintains all feed-in work sheets for pattern, finish, width, shift, date and yardage.
Adjusts tension bars and guides for proper direction of cloth.
Assists Operator in maintaining proper level of adhesive etc.
Informs Operator of narrow or bad cloth from rolls or A-frame.
Scans in all orders being processed on hot melt machine.
Keeps work area clean and orderly. Empties trash at end of shift and sweeps up.
Maintains good housekeeping in work area.
Follows all safety procedures and policies and advises supervisor of any unsafe conditions.
Any other duties requested by supervision.
Role Qualifications/Essential Skills and Experience:
Associate must demonstrate proficiency in the operation and proper use of scissors, tape measure, sewing machine, nip rollers to pull cloth into scray, fabrics, lot sheets, daily schedules and log sheets.
