Summary:
Seeking a Technician to perform loading and unloading of electroplating equipment, maintain equipment, and ensure quality standards are met.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED minimum. Technical school courses in mechanic or machinist classes advantageous. Ability to work independently or in teams. High level of efficiency, decision making, and energy. Accurate completion of work orders, BOMs, and data inputs within ERP system. Ability to read and understand Commercial, FAA, EASA, Repair Station, and ISO documentations. High level of integrity, confidentiality, and discretion. Compatibility with current workforce to maintain a productive atmosphere. Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Quantum preferred. Ability to read and adhere to verbal and written instructions. Capable of making basic decisions and working with deadlines under pressure. Effective oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
Technical training in mechanic or machinist classes. Experience in operating and maintaining specialized equipment. Familiarity with electroplating processes and equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
Load and unload electroplating equipment, fastening metal work pieces to devices or using hoists. Immerse work pieces in cleaning, plating, pickling, and rinsing tanks following timed cycles. Set temperature dials of tanks to prescribed levels. Inspect work pieces for plating defects and address as needed. Dry plated work pieces using oven operation. Use blasting equipment to clean parts with materials such as aluminum oxide and glass beads. Mentor and train other personnel. Immediately report any safety, quality, or ethical concerns to supervisors for resolution. Operate, maintain, and service specialized equipment as required.
