Join our Team (Whitsett, NC) Zink continues to grow and due to our continued success, we are hiring 100 new temporary Zappa Basic Assembly employees. These positions will work on an assembly line and packaging line, manufacturing Flowtron Bug Zappers, using simple hand tools, and packing, boxing and shipping finished goods. Zink’s address is 6900 Konica Drive, Whitsett, NC 27377. We are located just off Exit 138 on I-40. We are the large, white manufacturing building next door to Red Oak Brewery with Zink on our building. Due to the volume of positions that we are hiring for, we invite you to come to Zink, this Thursday and Friday, April 24 and April 25 where we will interview for positions, on the spot between the hours of 9 am and 4 pm. Drug tests will be administered during the interview. We will also continue to interview from Monday, April 28 to Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 9 am to 4 pm. The positions will be filled on a first come, first served basis so if you are looking for a job that starts work immediately, don’t delay. The work we have is not difficult and we are glad to train people who are willing to work and to learn. We have a total of 100 positions. We will offer two schedules; both are Monday to Thursday. The first shift is 6:30 am to 5 pm and the second shift is 5 pm to 3:30 am. Our second shift begins on May 5 so if you are offered a job, we can put you to work right away so that you can train during the next two weeks on day shift before going to the second shift. If you are offered a job, you will not have to work weekends. You will be off every Friday, Saturday or Sunday. We have FT work, four ten-hour shifts per day. These positions make great summer jobs if you are at least 18 years of age, have reliable transportation, authorization to work in the USA and you are able to pass a Drug Test. The starting pay is $12-$14 /hour based on work experience. These positions are also great for anyone who is good with working with their hands, have attention to detail and know how to work as part of a team. We welcome older candidates, first time candidates and college or high school students who need a summer job. We also speak Spanish and can accommodate employees whose first language is Spanish.
