Position Summary:

Putsch and Company are currently looking for a talented Machine Operator. A successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, be able to work independently, and have stellar attendance. What will you do?

• Check machinery daily for any safety issues
• Wear appropriate PPE to perform tasks.
• Operate Industrial Sanding Machine
• Responsible for ensuring efficient production that conforms to quality standards
• Assemble packing boxes/pallets
• Pack finished goods into boxes for shipping
• Report daily labor into the ERP system

Pay:

$ 18 per hour, time and a half pay rate after 40 hours in a pay period starting on Monday and ending on Sunday. Night shift differential $1 per hour.

Shift:

4×10’s_Monday-Thursday 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM Overtime is available on Fridays (strongly encouraged if available) and some Saturdays (if the employee desires). We prefer our employees to have a work/life balance and spend time with family, friends, pets, etc. on the weekends to rest and be revived for the Monday shift.

Sander / Packer

Night Shift will work 100% in the Fletcher facility. This is an entry-level position that requires upper body strength, the ability to stand 10 hours a day on concrete flooring, and is detail oriented. We manufacture several knife blades that look the same, but are different sizes or sides. The chance of packing two different parts in the same box, or placing the wrong label on a box is greater for someone who cannot stay focused and organized. Candidate must be able to use their upper arm strength for several hours at a time. Sanding our knives is a repetitive motion up and down from approximately 800 – 1000 times in a shift to remove burrs and legs off the knives. The pay is strictly $18 per hour with an additional $1 per hour shift deferential. Candidates will need to train on day shift (Monday-Thursday, 6:30 AM – 5 PM) for a few weeks before moving to the overnight shift. Candidate must have reliable transportation, excellent attendance, and initiative to learn. Benefits start on the 91st calendar day with a $0.50 raise.
