Job Description
Work Flexibility:
Onsite Shift will be 3:30-midnight with weekend work and overtime as needed.
What you will do:
As our 2nd shift machine operator II, you will be responsible for safely running production equipment, maintaining quality standards, and consistently evaluating the parts you produce. You must be able to learn quickly, follow instructions, work independently, and wear proper PPE—including safety shoes, safety glasses, and earplugs—at all times. We’re seeking dependable, detail-oriented individuals with reliable transportation who are eager to grow in a team-focused environment. Under minimal supervision, operate simple to intermediate manufacturing equipment (to include CNC Machines) Inspect machined components using precision measuring equipment while keeping accurate records Identify and accurately record scrap, maintenance requests, and production documents Read basic part prints/blueprints and understand general machine functions Assist in execution of continuous improvement projects Identify and report safety concerns, production issues, and documentation errors Assist execution of continuous improvement projects Effectively collaborate with peers, functional departments, and visitors of Stryker Meet work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends Exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects What you need:

Prior experience working with a CNC machine is strongly preferred. Prior experience using precision measuring equipment. Completion of a vocational or technical training program in machining or manufacturing.

These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location. Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based. Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category. Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
