Job Description
Lumber Yard Worker Chapel Lumber 1041 Caton Avenue, Elmira, NY 14904 Chapel Lumber, located in Elmira, NY, is seeking a motivated and reliable individual to fill a position in our Lumber Yard. Chapel Lumber has been a family owned and operated company since 1913 offering quality products and excellent customer service. We are looking for someone to assist customers in our lumber yard, loading and unloading trucks, going on or taking out deliveries that can include unloading material by hand. Must be capable of lifting up to 100 lbs. The ideal candidate for this position is self-motivated, positive, detail oriented, willing to learn and be a team player. Pay for this position is determined by experience and includes some weekly overtime pay as well.
Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs Valid and Clean driver’s license (to drive our trucks when needed) Must display professionalism when interacting with customers and coworkers Willing to work outside in the elements Benefits

Schedule :
Monday – Friday 7:30-4:30 and Every Other Saturday 8:00 am-12:00pm
Education & Experience :
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, required Customer Service Skills Retail Lumber Business experience a plus
