PositionSummary:

This role is a skilled role responsible for setting up andrunning equipment to machine or otherwise fabricate a variety ofprecision components to specifications by following drawings, workinstructions and in-process inspection requirements. 2nd Shift -3:30 PM to 12:00 AM – 20% Shift differential in addition to basepay.

AND UP Duties and Responsibilities:

Operation of various manual and CNC equipment such as CNC lathes,milling and drilling machines, and secondary process equipment tomachine or fabricate components for final assembly. Set up, adjust,and operate machine tools and many specialized or advancedvariation tools to perform precision machining operations. Mount,align and secure work holding, cutting tools, attachments,accessories, and materials onto machines. Load parts and cyclemachine to ensure optimal efficiency and conformance. Machine workholding for replacement tooling and or new product /work withengineering tool design. Basic shop math calculations work to tighttolerances. Interpret part drawings and process instructions.

Measure and inspect part features per drawing to ensure conformanceand detect defects using precision instruments using basic gagingand inspection tools (i.e. Dial Calipers, Gage Pins, Micrometers)Recognize and understand nonconformance, work with engineering andquality dept to resolve issues. Record information or datadescribing work performed or defects found. Follow all safetypolicies and procedures, including required PPE. Work overtime asrequired (mandatory at times) by the business. Maintain establishedstandards of quality, productivity & attendance. Able to work in ahigh-volume production environment. Performs other related tasks asassigned. Experience:

HighSchool degree or GED Certificate Equivalent experience minimum 5years on the job training.

Machining / Manufacturing

experiencerequired. Certified and proficient in Mastercam and Solid workspreferred Ability to read, Write, understand, and edit G codeprogramming for a variety of CNC machines preferred Familiar withMil specifications in the aerospace industry preferred Familiarwith
