Shift :

Monday – Friday 7a-3:30p (pay rate $19.38 per hour)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Dump Re-Melt or Butter – open containers ensuring no foreign material falls into chute and dump product as instructed. Break-down cardboard boxes and stack for disposal if necessary Pail – ensure empty pails or containers are free from any foreign material. Fill pail with product to defined weight or level. stack and/or package as instructed Cleaning – follow instructions to clean magnets and Sweko as instructed May be instructed to help out in other areas as needed such as re-bagging product. Report any defective materials, missing or damaged tools to the Supervisor Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition Ensure critical control point compliance documenting US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) results, magnet cleaning, downtime, waste generation; report any non-conformities Rotate into other production areas and perform additional duties where resources may be needed Collaborate with co-workers on the plant floor throughout production cycle Pick up other tasks that may be needed during downtime (maintaining clean work areas, etc.) Operate within the Blommer core values of respect and care for others

Physical Requirements:

Able to remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing) for prolonged periods of time Able to set up, adjust and operate machinery Able to observe and detect issues with product color and fineness Regularly required to bend, stoop, and reach Occasionally ascend/descend stairs Occasionally move materials weighing up to 50 pounds Constantly operate within a manufacturing product environment – daily exposure to noise, dust and variation in temperature (hot/cold)

Safety, Quality and Hygiene Requirements:

Operate with a focus on safety and quality, while maintaining a sanitary work environment Comply with Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) Lockout/Tagout requirements for hazardous energy sources Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure that products are consistently produced and controlled according to quality standards Adhere to

FDA HACCP

guidelines Adhere to Allergen Management best practices for food manufacturers Comply with workplace uniform requirements and safety gear Maintain compliance with all company policies, procedures and code of conduct

Skills and Work Experience Requirements:
