Palletizer Leiby’s Dairy Inc. 116 Mountain Rd, Tamaqua, PA 18252 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Palletizer to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the distribution process by ensuring that products are accurately and safely palletized for shipment. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work in a freezer environment. Duties Operate palletizing equipment and machinery to stack products efficiently for storage or shipment. Ensure that all pallets are built according to company specifications and safety standards. Monitor product quality during the palletizing process, reporting any discrepancies or issues. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to OSHA regulations. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and enhance productivity within the distribution center. Utilize warehouse management systems for tracking inventory and managing orders effectively. Assist in materials handling, including loading and unloading products as necessary. Operate cherry pickers, order pickers, and forklifts when required, ensuring safe operation at all times. Experience Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards is essential. Mechanical knowledge is a plus, particularly related to warehouse machinery and equipment. Experience operating cherry pickers, order pickers, and forklifts is highly desirable. Strong understanding of materials handling processes and best practices within a warehouse setting.
