Injection Mold Technician Position Available In Sarasota, Florida

Injection Mold Technician Sarasota Precision Engineering 2305 72nd Avenue East, Sarasota, FL 34243 Looking for a full-time Injection Mold Technician with 2 years of experience in injection molding setup and operation. (Required) The candidate will ensure parts are produced to spec by performing process adjustments, maintaining equipment, and conducting regular inspections.

Experience Qualifications:

Strong understanding of plastics resins and processing conditions. Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and specifications. Familiarity with quality control tools and inspection processes Must have troubleshooting and mechanical skills. Previous experience working in an ISO certified environment (preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

Setting up and starting injection molding machines (This includes loading, installing, changing molds with limited amount of machine down time. Adjust machine parameters and verifying settings for optimal performance. Ensure machines are set to the correct parameters. Operating and monitoring injection molding machines and making process adjustments as needed. Handle and prepare plastic resins, including drying and mixing as required. Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards using gauges, calipers, and other tools. Keep accurate records of production data and machine performance. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area. Perform basic maintenance on molding machines and support equipment. Understanding part prints to ensure parts are manufactured to specifications.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to reach into machines for tooling changes, adjustments, and perform general maintenance. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform other physical task. The employee is frequently required to climb ladders, kneel, crouch or crawl as required during the manufacturing of components and products.
