Pre-Press Technician Primary Functions and Responsibilities:

Complies with all company safety rules and workplace conduct requirements Pre-flights customer files, adding required bleeds, die-line, codes and traps Creates hard copy and electronic proofs Checks plate files and proofs for quality and accuracy Establishes work procedures for pre-press and plate making activities Responsible for coordinating with other departments Performs routine machine maintenance Assists in training other individuals and team members when required Demonstrates a deliberate focus on Safety, Quality, Continuous Improvement, and Customer Satisfaction Performs other job duties as assigned Job Requirements HS Diploma or GED required Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite with an emphasis on Photoshop and Illustrator Fluency with Esko Automation Engine, WebCenter, and ArtPro+ Good understanding of color management, including Extended Color Gamut Knowledge of pressSIGN and G7 certification a plus Ability to lift 10 – 15 pounds continuously with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds Must have good visual acuity Must have good color vision Must demonstrate basic mathematical skills Must be able to perform well under deadline constraints and meet quality standards Must be detail oriented and have excellent, quality driven work habits Must be able to work with and around inks, solvents, and other chemicals Willingness to work overtime when needed, including weekends Ability to work well with others and in a diverse workforce environment Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Must be eligible to work in the United States without restriction About Us Max Solutions, Inc. provides value added solutions for customers in the healthcare and consumer industries using the latest in technology and equipment.
