We are a leader in the Business-to-Business hemp & counterculture space. We help retail stores, online businesses, distributors, and other businesses nationwide manufacture & create their own private label hemp brand. Additionally, we constantly release brands of trendy, quality hemp products that help shop owners & distributors build their business. We have a manufacturing facility near downtown Greenville, South Carolina. We also have a sales and marketing office based in Greenville. About this role We are looking for an organized, dedicated leader to serve as the Manager serving over our gummy manufacturing operation. This role is a full-time, in-person role at our manufacturing facility that is located 8 minutes from downtown Greenville. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this person will oversee our gummy-making operation. Terpfusion recently invested in a 32-foot full-scale automatic gummy machine that produces around 20k-30k gummies an hour. The Gummy Manufacturing Manager will be in charge of leading the team that will efficiently produce edibles from this machine as well as maintaining/cleaning the gummy machine. This position has several primary responsibilities. The first primary responsibility is to correctly & efficiently produce gummies based on the schedule provided by the Director of Operations. This responsibility includes keep inventory, tracking batches, & making sure the team is mixing/making the gummies correctly, as well leading & managing the team that help make sure that . Additionally, this person will be trained to identify common problems with the gummy machinery & also trained to fix basic issues to ensure consistent daily production. The hours for this position will be from 12am to 9pm Monday-Friday. We also schedule overtime one weekend a month on a Saturday. However, there may be rare times when you will need to work varied hours depending on production needs or for maintenance on the machine. Responsibilities

  • Efficiently produce gummies using our Automatic Gummy Machine based on the schedule provided by the Director of Operations.
  • Lead & Direct a production team who will work with you to make gummies.
  • Properly measure & mix batches of gummy mix that will be processed in the machine.
  • Keep track of our material inventory and properly give the Director of Manufacturing notice when we are low on materials needed to properly make gummies.
  • Keep track of each batch that we run.
  • Use GMPs (Good Manufacturing Processes) and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) that have been developed by Terpfusion. Someone successful at this position knows the procedures well enough to be able to lead the manufacturing team with ease.
  • Teach new employees procedures & recipes. Constantly provide feedback & troubleshoot performance until they’ve mastered procedures.
  • Notate & keep record of samples from each batch of gummies produced.
  • When the machine needs maintenance, identify basic machinery problems and be able to diligently fix these issues to continue gummy production. These common troubleshooting issues will be taught by our Director of Operations during training.
  • Serve as a leader for our gummy production team. This includes arriving punctually and enthusiastically leading the team that you manage. Additionally, this may involve providing constructive feedback team-members to help them improve their job performance. Qualifications
  • Strong Leadership Skills
  • Fluent in speaking English
  • Ability to consistently lift up to 50 lbs when needed.
  • Ability to “Figure Things Out” – problem-solving skills are an absolute must!
  • Basic Mechanical Skills (and willingness to learn how to do basic repairs on our Gummy Machine)
  • Ability to do mathematics for properly mixing cannabinoids in our gummy mixtures
  • Proficient reading and writing skills
  • Great Organizational Skills
  • Great leadership skills – especially when leading a small manufacturing team.
  • Team-Oriented
  • Punctual
  • Interested in working in a fast-growing, always-changing industry.
  • 1-2 years experience working in a team-oriented environment manufacturing products. Working in a food, drink, or any machine is a huge plus!
  • Associates Degree
  • 21 years or older Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years in a leadership role with a small team of people manufacturing or cooking food, drink, or supplement products. Experience making gummies or chocolate is a HUGE plus.
  • Minimum of Associates Degree Preferred or equivalent experience.
