Small Format Finisher Palmetto Digital Solutions 11 North Kings Road, Greenville, SC 29605
Core Job Responsibilities:
1.
Finishing Printed Materials:
Cutting, trimming, folding, binding, or laminating small format printed items. Operating small format finishing equipment (e.g., guillotine cutters, scoring machines, folders, saddle stitchers). 2.
Quality Control:
Inspecting printed materials for defects or errors. Ensuring alignment, color accuracy, and finishing consistency. 3.
Machine Operation & Maintenance:
Setting up, operating, and performing basic maintenance on finishing equipment. Reporting any issues or malfunctions to supervisors. 4.
Material Handling:
Loading printed materials into machines or prepping them for finishing. Stacking, packing, or bundling finished products for delivery or shipment. 5.
Work Order Management:
Following production job tickets accurately. Tracking and logging completed work. 6.
Collaboration & Communication:
Coordinating with print operators, designers, and supervisors to meet deadlines. Communicating any delays or issues in production. 7.
Work Area Maintenance:
Keeping the production and finishing area clean and organized. Following safety protocols and ensuring a safe work environment.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$17.00 – $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
