Assembler Second Shift Position Available In Tioga, New York

Assembler Second Shift Precision Resources Company Inc. Owego, NY 13827 We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will perform a variety of assembly tasks on electronic and mechanical components, ensuring quality and precision in every step. Key Responsibilities Assembly Operations:

Perform repetitive and non-repetitive tasks to assemble modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. Use hand and power tools to complete assemblies according to diagrams and drawings. Conduct continuity checks on work in progress and finished products.

Quality & Testing:

Perform quality inspections to ensure assemblies meet specifications. Assist in disassembling, modifying, reworking, and reassembling prototype or experimental units under simulated conditions.

Collaboration & Improvement:

Work closely with team members and supervisors to resolve assembly issues. Suggest improvements to processes for better efficiency and quality. What We’re Looking For Ability to read and interpret diagrams, drawings, and technical instructions. Experience with hand and power tools (e.g., screwdrivers, drills, crimpers). Basic understanding of electronic or mechanical assemblies (training available for motivated candidates). Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Prior work in manufacturing, assembly, or a related field. Familiarity with quality control processes or testing procedures. Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment.
