As a key leader in the MIP and Cultivation facilities, the Production Manager oversees all aspects of staff and production operations while ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and upholding regulatory compliance across multiple departments. Working closely with the Director of Operations, the Production Manager drives continuous improvement and supports various additional operational areas.

Core Responsibilities:
Daily Production Oversight:

Management of all daily production activities across departments including prepack, trim, bucking, preroll packing, and harvest/fresh frozen operations.

Staff and Task Management:

Directly supervise production teams, delegate tasks, and adjust staffing in real time based on production needs.

Performance Monitoring:

Utilize digital tracking documents for inventory, cost analysis, and employee performance evaluations. Fill out daily production reports.

Cross-Department Collaboration:

Facilitate collaboration and communication across departments to ensure seamless operations and effectively resolve any conflicts.

Quality Assurance:

Establish and maintain quality control standards across all departments, ensuring compliance with material standards, trimmed product quality, contamination prevention, and proper storage and curing procedures.

Process Control:

Implement and/or maintain protocols for harvesting, wet bucking, and post-harvest processing, while identifying and mitigating production bottlenecks.

Data Accuracy:

Maintain precise records for production and inventory, ensuring data consistency and reliability.

Metrc Analytics:

Possesses advanced expertise in Metrc, the state-mandated track-and-trace system that monitors cannabis products from seed to sale. Manages front-end facets of Metrc inventory control, including data entry, analytics, and real-time monitoring of inventory movements.

Compliance Oversight:

Stay current with industry regulations, lead monthly inventory and plant room audits, and assist in preparing detailed compliance reports.

Staff Training:

Assist with onboarding and training new team members in both digital data systems and physical hands-on department training.

Harvest & Processing Supervision:

Oversee all aspects of harvesting, as well as both wet and dry processing of cannabis products, ensuring efficient and safe execution of procedures.

MIP Production Management:

Manage the production of prerolls, infused products, and biomass preparation, ensuring quality standards and adherence to production timelines.

Menu & Order Management:

Assist with maintaining bulk menus that reflect current inventory; build invoices and allocate orders using the Flourish and Metrc systems.

Logistics Coordination:

Assist with third-party delivery companies to accommodate deliveries, confirm order details, and address logistical challenges.

Testing:

Organize and send out material batches for testing, utilizing Confident Cannabis and Metrc for lab sample creation and tracking.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in Management is required Must be 21+ to apply Must be able to obtain an
