Job Summary:

In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all activities related to the production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery of the company’s orders. They will monitor and manage all aspects of the company’s work in process. They will also take on certain aspects of the new product development process. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, have experience working with factories in Asia, and have a proven track record of successfully managing multiple tasks at the same time.

Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities of the Production Manager include developing and implementing production plans, overseeing all compliance issues, maintaining positive overseas vendor relations, coordinating import logistics, resolving all manufacturing and quality issues, and analyzing data to improve efficiencies. The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, managing costs, implementing continuous improvement programs, reporting on production status, and being an important part of a small but close team. Communicating regularly with both customers and suppliers the Production Manager will need to be comfortable working on all sides of the order process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management, importing or order planning.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Strong in Excel.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• This job is full time in the office.
