Job Summary:
The Operations Lead will collaborate with the Plant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and productivity in the manufacturing of high-quality filters. This role involves coordinating production schedules, managing staff, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive the execution of plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality control, and logistics. Lead and oversee department leads and production staff to ensure smooth workflow. Monitor production schedules and adjust resources as needed to meet deadlines and quality standards. Maintain safety protocols to ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards. Participate in resource planning and cost control efforts to maximize operational efficiency. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Collaborate on inventory management and coordinate to ensure raw materials and components are available. Participate in hiring, training, and performance management of plant personnel. Ensure compliance with company policies. Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to motivate teams. Knowledge of lean manufacturing or other process improvement methodologies. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office. Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices. Effective communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual capabilities a plus.
Work Environment:
Primarily a manufacturing plant environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures. May require occasional lifting, standing, or working extended hours to meet production demands.
