Position Summary:

As a Production Supervisor, you will lead and support a team of operators and technicians on a rotating 12-hour day shift. Your focus will be on safety, quality, productivity, and team development. You will play a key role in monitoring performance metrics, using Excel (including pivot tables) to track KPIs, identify trends, and drive results.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead day-to-day production operations on the 8AM-8PM rotating shift to meet output and quality targets. Supervise, coach, and support production staff to ensure a safe and productive work environment. Monitor and maintain operational KPIs such as yield, downtime, cycle time, scrap rate, and labor efficiency. Use Microsoft Excel—including pivot tables, and conditional formatting—to track and analyze production metrics and generate performance reports. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including quality, maintenance, and engineering to resolve issues and improve processes. Conduct shift handovers, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure compliance with SOPs and safety standards. Support implementation of lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement projects. Train team members and provide regular performance feedback.

Qualifications:

3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manage pivot tables, charts, and KPI dashboards. Strong understanding of production workflows, quality control, and manufacturing metrics. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift (8AM-8PM). Knowledge of lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus. High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
