Somerville, NJ 08876 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Tool Room Supervisor to oversee the operations of our tool room. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient management of tools and equipment, optimizing inventory levels, and supporting production needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of supply chain management, enabling them to drive improvements and maintain high standards of quality and efficiency. Responsibilities

• Must be proficient in tool room equipment (i.e. milling machine, EDM, polishing, lathe, surface grinding, CNC)
• Must have and advanced knowledge of mold assembly and mold maintenance requirements
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Advanced use of measuring devices
• Understand design specifications
• Must understand standard tool room safety practices
• Entering completed mold maintenance and repair information into QMS database
• Customer knowledge
• Familiar with basic processing requirements for injection molding, blow molding, and offset printing
• Forklift certification
• Familiar with outside tool making processes o Design o Plating o Heat treating
• Computer skills o Familiar with Autocad/ SolidWorks o Familiar with Microsoft office
• Perform technical and cosmetic inspections on sample parts (for mold evaluation purposes)
• Participates in and signs off on all training activities
• Understanding of quality and food safety. Experience Preferred 5 years manufacturing experience. Education

$59,766.40 – $89,649.60 per year
