The Impact You’ll Make As our Offal Supervisor , you’ll own a critical part of our harvest operation—from head to red and white organs. You’ll ensure our offal products meet the highest standards of safety, yield, and quality. With a direct hand in shaping both product and people, your work will affect food safety, team performance, and operational excellence daily. What You’ll Do Lead a production team in offal operations, starting at 5:00 AM until harvest completion (10 hour shifts approximately) Oversee product handling, boxing, and compliance with USDA, HACCP, and SSOP standards Coach, train, and support team members to meet production goals and safety protocols Identify improvement areas through audits, variance tracking, and CI tools Manage daily staffing needs and execute production plans effectively Work in a physical, wet, cold (42°F), and fast-paced environment What Makes This Role Exciting? Bilingual skills (Spanish or Creole) are a strong plus, but not required.
Skills & Mindset Must-Have Skills:
1+ year in a leadership role (e.g., supervisor, team lead) Experience in protein or food production Familiarity with HACCP, SSOP, and USDA standards Proficiency in Excel and understanding of yields/variances Strong communication and people management skills
Nice-to-Haves:
Bilingual (Spanish or Creole) Experience in continuous improvement or lean environments Prior work in physically demanding, cold environments
