Full Job Description Description:
We are looking for a Production Foreman to oversee all aspects of field-work to ensure crews are efficiently and productively meeting and/or exceeding the needs of the project(s). This person must exhibit leadership, be self-motivated, organized, and safety-conscious. The ideal candidate will also have problem-solving skills, the ability to think critically and creatively, basic knowledge of premise installations, underground utility construction, billing codes, fiber equipment, safe digging processes and OSHA requirements. This position reports to the field daily, not to an office. At this time, the intention is for this position to work in the surrounding Shelbyville area, but is subject to change as the needs of the business change.
Schedule:
Regularly scheduled to work 40 hours a week. Willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays as needed in addition to regular travel.

Must have 1+ years of experience with installations and maintenance repairs in the fiber or telecommunications industry. Preferred applicants have experience in specialized technical courses or equivalent work experience and are DOT certified. Prior supervisor or foreman experience is a plus. Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets the company’s minimum safety standards. Excellent customer service and personnel skills with the ability to lead. Ability to interpret and communicate project plans and standards to support staff, labor crews, subcontractors, vendors and customers with clarity and precision. General knowledge of residential and commercial construction methods. Aptitude to read and interpret fiber records, staking sheets, specification sheets, and circuit diagrams, and splice fiber as directed.
