Job Description
1st to 2nd shift Production Operators 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars Medway, MA 02053 We are seeking Production Operators that are available to train on the 1st shift for about 3 months before moving to the 2nd shift to set up and operate CNC equipment.
Hours for training:
6:30am-5pm (Mon
- Thurs) (probably 3 months) leading to
Regular Shift :
4:30pm
- 3am (Mon
- Thurs)
Pay Rate:
$18
- $20+/hr (based on industry experience) plus shift differential to on second shift
- No experience
- No worries; training is offered for willing candidates
- Must read and write English Position responsibilities:7 Operates, and verifies the quality of work on a wide variety of saws involving close tolerances.
Performs routine or repetitive operations in a manner that will consistently meet quality requirements and production standards. Label making using computers Runs routine and repetitive operations that are set up on a wide variety of saws Works from drawings and/or specifications as well as other Traveler instructions at times under supervision. Makes suggestions for improvements to processes to enhance operations. Maintains required tooling, as needed, to manufacture parts to specifications. Conducts quality checks through the use of fixed or adjustable precision measuring devices. Lubricates and cleans machines as necessary. Maintains work area in a neat and orderly condition. Works safely and complies with all established safety rules and work practices. Complies with Company, Department, and quality policies and procedures as applicable. Keeps Area Lead informed of job-related problems and other information related to work activity. Maintains a positive attitude and promotes a “team” approach throughout the Department. Performs multiple operations as required. Performs related work as apparent or assigned. The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications: High school education or equivalent, plus at least 2 years of Vo-Tech training in machine tool technology or a related area or equivalent. 2 to 5 years of CNC machining set-up and operating experience in a job shop environment.
