Production Assistant for Video and still production company Gary Sloan Studios Northborough, MA 01532 We are looking for an entry level production assistant to join our team at the XL. We are a commercial production house focusing on advertising campaigns shooting both motion and still formats. We are an all in crew here and from the director to assistants we remain hands on to anything that keep us running smoothly. We work hard and have a lot of fun. Candidates should have a valid drivers license and the ability to lift at least 50lbs. A knowledge of tools and light construction is a bonus but not a requirement -we will teach you! Job duties include but are not limited to the following: Lumber and build material pick ups, lunch pick ups( using either of our company vehicles ), overall studio maintenance – general cleaning and set build out support for our in house carpenter-The setting up and moving of light stands/ back drops and an all around shoot support to the director and producer. This a full time position at a starting rate salary with room to grow. Benefits after a year and from the start a weeks paid vacation. Lunch is always covered as well as all the snacks and beverages needed in a day. Average hours run 8am – 6pm with exception to shoot schedule that starts earlier at 7:30 and potentially runs later. On that same note lighter days can run 8:30 -5:30pm. All of it is conducive to what needs to be done.
