1st Shift Production Associate Vertical Supply Group (VSG)/Sterling Rope Biddeford, ME 04005 Vertical Supply Group is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our expanding 1st shift production team at our Biddeford, Maine location Sterling Rope. Matching 401K Generous PTO package Eligibility for quarterly & annual bonuses 1st shift hours are 7:00 am – 3:30pm Monday through Friday. 1st shift starting rate $19/hour Job description : Responsibilities include but not limited to: Working knowledge of machinery and tools being used, including emergency shut offs. Handle various processes involved in manufacturing rope as necessary, including core twisting, backwinding, sheath twisting, winding, braiding, inspection, and final finish. Maintains clean and organized workspace to ensure accuracy. Understands all aspects of production process, including storage, organization, labeling of all ropes (including assembled packages) lot numbers, cord patterns and lay length. Manages and recycles waste product according to department protocols. Demonstrate safe working practices, including appropriate attire and safety gear, reports any safety issues to management immediately. Maintains and updates appropriate levels of documentation, including log sheets, labeling, and sorting product and construction sheets. Frequent lifting of 30-50 pounds. Operates efficiently and with as little waste as possible while still maintaining a high standard of quality. Maintains confidentiality.

$19.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.00 per week
