Manufacturing Utility Worker – 1st Shift 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars 704 W Park Rd, Union, MO 63084 GENERAL
DESCRIPTION
Clean and maintain extrusion/paint equipment in an aluminum manufacturing plant that is not climate-controlled. This is a position that requires mechanical aptitude.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Adhere to OSHA and plant safety standards, including Lockout-Tagout. Highly motivated, self-directed, multi-crafted worker that is able to work autonomously in a fast-paced and often loud production environment. Adhere to plant cleaning and maintenance tasks. Complete assigned work efficiently and per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Responsible for process management, simple maintenance tasks, lubrication, housekeeping, and sanitation.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to stand, stoop, crawl, squat, kneel, and bend at the waist. Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds. Ability to read micrometers, calipers, tape measures, and use small hand tools. Ability to demonstrate excellent attendance. Ability to read and follow instructions. Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings (drug screen and background check).
