Production Team Member Usheco, Inc. 138 Maple Hill Drive, Kingston, NY 12401 Production Worker Job Description Our plastics manufacturing company is seeking a Production Worker to join our manufacturing team. We’re looking for dedicated individuals who always show up for work on time and who thrive in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates will have prior experience in a production setting and a high degree of mechanical aptitude. The successful applicant will be responsible for adhering to a production schedule, reporting any issues with equipment, equipment maintenance, and ensuring stock levels are adequate for future jobs. Between running machines, this individual will also be required to be capable of reading blueprints and schematics and produce light assemblies, run CNC routers, thermoformers, line benders, or die cutter, as required. Responsibilities and Duties Carry out production, inspection, packaging and machine operation duties. Maintain a safe and clean work space. Perform appropriate duties assigned by management. Inform supervisors of any part or equipment defects to ensure prompt response to the problem. Lift loads up to 60 lbs. and stand for an eight-hour work shift. Committed to quality, safety and communication. Independent, self-directed and multitasker. Feed raw materials into production machinery. Effectively monitor production process and equipment. Provide labor support for other departments, including but not limited to, line bending, thermoforming, CNC routing, die cutting, assembly work, etc. Scheduler to be advised of any changes to production schedule immediately. Follow established safety rules and regulations. Store goods and raw materials properly. Pack goods to be shipped. Strong knowledge of machines in a manufacturing setting. Ability to accurately read drawings and schematics. Strong work ethic and organizational skills. Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Capable of lifting 60 lbs. unassisted. Able to stand for extended periods of time. Reliable mode of transportation. Immediate availability.
