QC Analyst Requirements:

-Min. BS/BA Biology, Chemistry, orMedical Technology – 3-6 months of research experience (could beacademic, internship, co-op) or industry experience Hours-2:00pm-10:30pm Roles and responsibilities: Performs analyses ofClinical Chemistry, Critical Care, coagulation and microbiologycontrols and reagents using various automated techniques inaccordance with established quality standards and GMP requirementsPerform automated and manual assays as detailed indepartmental/plant SOPs and QC Monographs including raw material,in-process and finished product Interprets test results againstspecifications and decides if assays pass or fail Maintainsdocumentation of all work performed in accordance with GMPrequirements Performs product stability, proficiency, environmentaltesting and water system testing Responsible for routine preventivemaintenance, general trouble shooting, general cleanliness andcalibration of lab equipment Updates departmental SOP’s and QCMonographs as directed Performs microbial testing per SOP’s and QCMonographs As well as below: Orders required laboratory supplies,reagents and other consumables Monitors proper storage conditionsand expiration dates Disposal of hazardous and bio-hazardousmaterials Maintains retain samples in accordance with establishedprocedures Maintains statistical process control charts and othertracking reports
