Description The Quality Supervisor – Aerospace willbe responsible for the following: Supervise daily activities of thequality inspection team across all shifts. Ensure compliance with

IATF 16949

(automotive), AS9100 (aerospace), and

ISO 9001

qualitystandards. Manage internal audits, support customer and third-partyaudits, and ensure readiness for regulatory inspections.

Investigate non-conformances, lead root cause analysis, andimplement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).Interface with customers and suppliers regarding quality issues,documentation, and resolution plans. Lead training and developmentof team members on quality tools, procedures, and industryrequirements. Utilize quality tools such as PPAP, FMEA, APQP, SPC,and MSA to monitor and improve product quality. Analyze qualitydata and trends, and report on key quality performance indicators(KPIs). Collaborate with engineering and production teams to driveprocess improvements and reduce variation. Profile The idealQuality Supervisor – Aerospace will have the followingqualifications: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering,Quality, or related technical field preferred. 5 years of qualityexperience in automotive and/or aerospace manufacturing; at least 2years in a supervisory or team lead capacity. In-depth knowledge ofIATF 16949, AS9100, and related customer-specific requirements.

Strong working knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, MSA,and SPC. Experience with internal and external audits, customerquality concerns, and regulatory compliance. Proficiency withMicrosoft Office and quality management systems (QMS); experiencewith ERP systems is a plus. Excellent leadership, communication,and problem-solving skills. ASQ certifications such as CQE(Certified Quality Engineer) or CQA (Certified Quality Auditor).Experience with NADCAP processes and special process validations(e.g., heat treat, welding, coatings). Familiarity with GD&T(Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and CMM inspectiontechniques.
