Role:
We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient Assurance Quality Control Director to join our team. This leadership role is critical in maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance across our assurance engagements. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in U.S. GAAP and FASB standards, along with a strong background in technical research and client interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in quality control processes for assurance engagements to ensure compliance with professional standards and firm policies Provide technical guidance and support on complex accounting and reporting issues Assist in development, implement, and monitor the firm’s quality control policies and procedures in accordance with professional standards (e.g. AICPA) Review assurance engagements to ensure compliance with
U.S. GAAP, FASB
standards and firm methodologies. Collaborate with engagement teams to resolve technical issues and ensure high-quality deliverables Participate in client engagements, offering strategic insights and maintaining strong client relationships Assist in training initiatives and mentor staff to enhance technical knowledge and professional development Collaborate with firm leadership to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement Stay current with changes in standards and regulations, and proactively update firm policies as needed
Qualifications:
CPA designation required Minimum of 10 years of experience in public accounting or a related assurance role Extensive knowledge of
U.S. GAAP, FASB
standards, and firm methodologies Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results, while adhere to client specific deadlines Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset Demonstrated experience in training, mentoring and developing assurance staff
