Job Description

Quality Assurance Manager 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars 280 Jackson Rd, Atco, NJ 08004 Quality Assurance (QA) Manager will collaborate with colleagues across the organization, with the overall goal to develop new and innovative quality assurance practices for each program. The key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Gaining and maintaining expert knowledge in program regulatory requirements /principles and ensuring that the information is implemented accordingly by Program Directors Preparing individual audit plans and audit/risk mitigation plans for programs/projects as needed Clearly communicating and reporting (verbally and in writing) audit outcomes to the rest of organization, and escalating quality issues as required Participating in program audit activities, key document audits and system validation audits Proactively assisting the organization in preparation, coordination, hosting, conducting, documentation and follow up for inspections Strong understanding of quality processes with the ability to creatively reach a compliant solution Developing and implementing client Annual Satisfaction Survey; including but not limited to: distribution, data entry and running analysis reports Determining, negotiating and agreeing on in-house quality procedures, standards and specifications Working with operating staff to establish standards, systems and procedures, recording, analyzing and distributing statistical information Utilization reviews including verifying quality and quantity of services delivered by providers Leading a multitude of utilization review, quality assurance and performance management initiatives Developing, implementing and operating systems to capture data and report on quality and performance Annually updating Archways Corporate Compliance Plan for review and approval Providing evaluation and analysis of data, which identify potential liability problems, issues of noncompliance and/or progress toward correction of identified problems Investigating allegations of compliance infractions and presenting written reports with recommendations on corrective actions to Archways CEO/COO Reviewing applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and standards of practice. Drafting Policies and Procedures in consultation with the appropriate program director for review and approval Ensuring ongoing maintenance of the Archway staff credentialing files, through coordination with HR department Preparing, organizing and coordinating monthly audit of teams service documentation, analyzing data from the audits, presenting summary reports with recommendation(s) for review and action to C/QA Committee Completing baseline audit of all new participant charts and conduct twenty-five percent of quarterly audits of the teams charts for compliance

Education and Experience:

Minimum of three years of experience in quality management Health and human services experience – preferably related to developmental disabilities services Deep knowledge of utilization review and quality assurance / improvement principles, performance measurement, interrater reliability methodologies and accreditation processes High level of proficiency in data management, analytics and reporting Bachelors or Masters degree in a social services or health care discipline Knowledge of Carelogic preferred
