AS9100/ISO9001
Quality Management System (QMS) Experience in a manufacturing environment. The Quality Manager will perform the following (but not limited to) tasks. Position Requirements/Tasks Development application and maintenance of QMS Document Control Auditing Systems, In-Process, Suppliers Monitoring Company Quality Metrics Manage direct reports of Quality department personnel. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Quality department including: Required Inspections (including CMM/Romer/Faro Arm); Product testing; Creation and Completion of FAIs/PPAPs and Certificate of Conformance (CofC) (as required) Lead and drive actions with identifying and investigating non-conformances/production issues, and recommend solutions to improve the products, services, and processes. Work closely with the production, engineering, and management team to ensure that necessary quality considerations are integrated into the production processes. Lead, assist and drive actions in the creation of standardized forms, work instructions, SOPs, POPs, and policies. Lead, assist and drive actions with upholding compliance with the company’s internal Quality Assurance Manual (AS9100/ISO9001), and necessary customer requirements. Support (when necessary, lead) continuous improvement actions throughout the facility. Work with multiple departments to maintain, plan, and schedule all on-going certifications, educational workshops, and various compliance-related documentation in correspondence with the appropriate department manager. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Ability to read and understand parts blueprints, including GD&T. Experience performing and programming CMM/Romer/Faro Arm inspections: PC-DMIS; PolyWorks Knowledge and experience managing Quality Management System (AS9100/ISO9001) Previous leadership experience. FAI/PPAP
documentation Experience in inspecting in-process and finished components Ability to communicate with fellow leadership members and production to ensure conforming products. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must have good multi-tasking skills. Knowledge/understanding of AWS Welding requirements (preferred but not required). Knowledge of DFARS ideal
