PM Job Description:

As part of asmall, passionate and accomplished team of experts, you willimplement receiving inspection methodologies to support themanufacture, assembly, and test for various spaceflight systems.

This position will directly impact the history of space explorationand will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attentiontowards safe and repeatable spaceflight. Inspect material perinspection plan such as dimensions, part marking and traceability.

Review all supplied documentation for hardware acceptance perPurchase Order requirements including, but not limited to,inspection and material reports. Provide feedback to engineers andbuyers with dimensional data. Document, track, and completediscrepancy reports. Provide inspection time estimates. Assist withmaintaining and tracking all inspection equipment calibrations.

Contribute to process improvements. Maintain configuration controlon files and job records. Safely work within an industrialenvironment.

Qualification:

A minimum of 5-7 years experience inreceiving or dimensional inspection of aerospace components.

Intermediate GD&T comprehension per

ASME Y14.5M-1994

standard.

Excellent communication skills. Fluent in the use of precision handtools, gages, optical comparator, and surface plate work. Abilityto select the correct tool for the inspection task Familiar withthe use of personal computers. Self-motivation and ability toprioritize projects to meet completion dates Ability to earn trust,maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute toa culture of inclusion Inventory system knowledge Purchase ordersystem management Intermediate machining knowledge Experienceoperating heavy lifting equipment such as cranes and forkliftsaround flight critical hardware Outside processing knowledge (heattreat, plating, coating, EDM, grinding, etc.)
