We are seeking a dedicatedand detail-oriented Permanent Quality Inspector to join our dynamicteam in the Aerospace industry. This position involves ensuring thequality and reliability of our manufacturing processes and outputs,by performing a variety of inspections and tests. The successfulcandidate will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment toensuring that our products meet all necessary standards andspecifications.
Responsibilities:
Conduct first piece/first articleinspections to verify conformance to specifications and standards.
Perform in-process inspections to ensure ongoing compliance and toidentify any issues or defects that may arise during themanufacturing process. Use a variety of inspection tools andequipment to measure and test products. Interpret and apply AS9102,GD&T and other relevant standards and regulations. Documentinspection results by completing reports, summarizing re-works andwastes, and inputting data into quality database. Maintain a safeand healthy work environment by following standards and proceduresand complying with legal regulations. Collaborate with productionteam to address and resolve quality issues, improve processes andensure customer satisfaction. Provide technical support and adviceto other team members as needed. Participate in continuousimprovement initiatives, suggesting changes to enhance quality andefficiency.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in aquality inspection role within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in first piece/first article inspection and in-processinspection. Solid understanding and experience with AS9102 andGD&T. Excellent attention to detail and a high level ofaccuracy. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability tointerpret technical drawings and specifications. Proficient in theuse of various inspection tools and equipment. Strong communicationskills, with the ability to effectively communicate quality issuesand solutions to team members at all levels. A commitment toupholding the highest quality standards. Ability to manage multipletasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge ofsafety standards and compliance requirements. A team player with apositive attitude and strong work ethic.
