Quality Control/Customer Service Technician Cadco Ltd/BK Mfg, Corp. 200 International Way, Winsted, CT 06098

Job Summary:

The Quality Control (QC) Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products meet established standards of quality, reliability, and performance. This role involves inspecting materials, processes, and final products, identifying defects, and ensuring corrective actions are taken to maintain compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the machine shop in all processes to make proper changes as required. Inspect in-process production, and finished products for quality, consistency, and compliance with specifications. Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database. Reject and quarantine defective items; communicate defects to production staff and suggest corrective actions. Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions. Assemble and evaluate new product prototypes. Perform routine and random testing on finished products, purchased parts, new products, and hy-pot. Use measurement tools such as calipers and protractors. Monitor production operations to ensure conformance to quality standards. Report any quality-related problems or non-conformances to supervisors. Assist in the development and improvement of quality control procedures and participate in internal audits and continuous improvement activities. CAD experience a plus. Secondary Tasks to

Assist Service Manager:
  • Provide technical support and product information to customers and technicians via email and phone.
  • Resolve product or service problems while ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Develop and maintain product knowledge.
  • Work closely with team members to resolve user issues.
  • Maintain daily recordings and documentation of issues, resolutions, and in-house inventory consumption.
  • Install, test, troubleshoot, and repair products.
  • Pull, package, print shipping labels, and process orders for shipment.
  • Consult with inventory management to maintain replacement part stock levels.
  • Anything else that may be required.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:

$22.00 – $24.00 per hour
