Growth Opportunities:

Work closely with the Quality Assurance Department and Manager, identifying areas for continuous improvement and contributing to important projects. How You’ll Make an Impact (Responsibilities): Proactively collect crucial information and data related to food safety, quality, and legality, promptly communicating any issues to the QA and Food Safety Manager. Perform and/or verify operational inspections in accordance with stringent GMP standards. Conduct detailed quality checks, including label, lot code, net weight, and sensory inspections. Execute traceability and mass balance according to the annual schedule. Monitor GMPs and product, process, and packaging controls for any non-compliance. Act as a mentor for production associates, guiding them on issues related to food safety, quality, and legality. Conduct orientation for new hires and annual refreshers for essential training (GMP, CCP, QA, etc.).

Documentation & Analysis:

Complete electronic documentation of QA logs for trend analysis, providing valuable insights. What We’re Looking For (Qualifications): High School Diploma required. An Associate or Bachelor’s degree in related sciences is preferred. 2+ years of experience in a food processing plant is preferred, particularly with Quality/Food Safety experience. Excellent work history, demonstrating positive attendance and tenure.

Essential Skills:

Attention to detail. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Computer literacy and ability to troubleshoot basic software. Ability to work in cold (32 to 45°F) and wet environments.
