Essential Job Functions:
1st Shift Take lead role in APQP andPPAP. Developing Process Flow Diagrams, Process FMEAS, ControlPlans and Core Tools (MSA, SPC, GR&R, etc.) assuring timelylaunch of new projects from the Quality support area. Interfacewith Manufacturing, Engineering and Program Management to ensuresuccessful and timely transfer/implementation of new products inaccordance with customer requirements and timelines. Support theproduction process by participating in all aspects of supplierquality including receiving inspection, monitoring metrics,auditing suppliers, evaluation of suppliers for approval,development of new suppliers, and supplier corrective actions.
Support activities involving validation (inspection) of productquality including use of testing equipment and operation and/orprogramming of CMM as well as support of Lab Scope requirements.
Lead teams in the development of permanent corrective actions (8D)on internal and external non-conformances. Determination of rootcause and corrective/preventative action plans when non-conformingand / or scrap material is present, moving towards zero defectspolicy. Active participation in the performance of internalprocedure and process audits of the company’s quality system(LPA’s, 5S’s, IATF, ISO, etc.) Responsible for ensuring the qualitysystems are maintained in accordance with the IATF16949, ISO9001,and
ISO 14001
standards and any Customer Specific Requirements.
Actively support company objectives and policies. Lead orparticipate in non-conforming product review MRB board process.
Write and manage RA’s and PO’s as required. Ensure compliance withand follow health, safety and security practices
Non-essential JobFunctions:
Back-up for QA personnel (inspectors, auditors,technicians, & manager) May be required to travel, attend tradesshows, seminars, etc. Other task, duties, and responsibilities asrequested by the Quality Manager or other member of management.

Experience:
High school diploma orequivalent required Bachelor’s Degree in engineering preferred.
Three to five years of experience and/or training, or equivalentcombination of education and experience in Quality Assurance.
ISO/IATF
System experience. 5 years related manufacturing experiencewith press brakes, laser, welding. Abilities, Skills and KnowledgeAbility to communicate effectively throughout all levels within theorganization both written and verbally Creative and progressivethinker with problem solving skills The ability to containnon-conforming material and disposition with cross functional teammembers. Able to operate computers and software such as MicrosoftExcel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, etc. related to managing theQuality Management System Have understanding of qualityphilosophies, principles, systems, methods, tools, standards,customer expectations, supplier performance, improvement systemsand professional ethic Ability to establish and maintain effectiveworking relationships with co-workers
Physical Demands:
Requiressitting, intermittent standing, and walking. Frequently required totalk and hear Occasionally required to reach above shoulders, climbor balance; and stoop, kneel, or crouch Lift and/or move up to 50pounds. Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or touchobjects, tools, or controls.
