Job Description

How you’ll make an impactCreate and update routine analysis and quality inspection plans for raw materials and final products.
Develop and maintain comprehensive inspection reports.
Inspect goods and products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
Guarantee finished products meet required specifications before shipment.
Ensure test equipment is calibrated and functioning correctly.
Report quality anomalies to the quality engineer via quality alerts.
Conduct wiring functional tests of control cabinets.
Identify areas for improvement in quality control processes and follow applicable policies and procedures.
Represent the Quality department on the production line to ensure compliance with operating procedures and production flow.
Your backgroundMinimum of a 2-year degree in electrical/electronic technology or industrial electrical testing.
Work authorization to permit employment with Hitachi Energy in the United States.
Excellent technical, written, and verbal communication skills.
Proven experience in a production environment as a Quality Technician, Inspector, or similar role.
Basic knowledge of
ISO 9000
concepts and current quality control techniques.
Experience in control wiring connection and testing is preferred.
Ability to read 2D drawings and analyze technical information.
Strong customer service orientation and proactive change agent mindset.
Proficiency in MS Office and SAP ERP or equivalent.
