Job Description

Repak Operator 2.5 2.5 out of 5 stars 4510 Enterprise Drive NW, Concord, NC 28027 The Repack/Operator is responsible for following standard work which includes visually inspecting parts, weight verifying the correct quantities that ship out to the customer.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Repack Production Pack parts as required per standard from current tote to box. Inform supervisor or team leader of any potential problems that relate to safety, quality, or productivity Conduct product changeovers and line-clears as required Accurately record production, scrap, and defect information CNC Production Operate lathe and finish process to produce quality parts Package and label product as specified Obtain supplies and raw materials from molding department as needed Deliver finished product to staging area at end of shift Meet scheduled production rates Quality Perform visual inspections of finished products per visual standards Perform housekeeping duties (5S) daily Inform supervisors or team leaders of any potential problems that relate to quality or productivity Use measurement gauges and test instruments to perform required quality control checks to verify part specifications are met Record QC data per third party certification documentation and SPC requirements Perform other duties related to sorting as directed by QC Manager or QC Inspector Conduct quality checks as established in current work instructions Ensure that tooling and gauging are in spec and verified by Quality Assurance or other authorized personnel Authority to stop production related to quality issues and part specification Administrative Accurately complete all required paperwork relative to each sort of job Accurately record production, scrap, and defect information Order production components and supplies from warehouse Communicate with QC Inspector or QC Manager of any issues or concerns Education and Required Experience High School Diploma or GED required One year of production/manufacturing experience Skills This job requires a basic command of the English language Must be able to comprehend and follow written instructions Ability to work at a steady pace to meet production (parts per hour) requirements Basic math skills including additional subtraction, division, and multiplication Must have a basic understanding of the metric system of measurement Must have a basic understanding of the use of measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, electronic weight scales, and rulers Physical Requirements Must have the ability to lift 35 pounds without assistance Must have the ability to stand for at least 8 hours per day (at times 2-3 hours longer and overtime is required) Must have the ability to bend and reach multiple times per day Must be able to effectively hold and utilize small hand tools and fasteners Must be able to bend and/or stoop to pick up and set down product/boxes Must be able to visually detect small defects in production materials Must be able to hear buzzers, horns, and/or warning signals emitted by production equipment Safety Adhere to company safety policies and procedures Report unsafe conditions or safety related issues immediately Use required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as directed Use appropriate machine guards and procedures Follow 1SO-14001 procedures related to environmental impacts and aspects Oiles America Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
