POSITION SUMMARY
Ensures the regulatory compliance of all provision of services by investigating, documenting and resolving Quality Management (QM) concerns; performing ongoing observation and assessment of service delivery; providing instruction, feedback and support to staff/ management. Maintains integrity of the investigative process and treats all interviewees with dignity, respect while maintaining confidentiality. Ensures continuing improvement of the QM Department by monitoring and communicating needs while working cooperatively with QM team to provide outcomes of investigations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education, Training & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree Two (2) years’ experience working in the Human Services field Or Associate’s Degree Four (4) years’ experience working in the Human Services field Or The equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Education, Training & Experience:
Experience completing investigations
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to work a flexible schedule, which could include some nights and/or weekends Valid New York State Driver’s License that meets agency requirements Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing including with members of management Ability to accurately and effectively interpret and communicate technical and regulatory information Ability to provide formal and informal instruction and training on a variety of topics Ability to maintain confidentiality in all dealings with staff during the investigative process. Ability to prioritize in order to complete multiple tasks in a quality and timely manner Ability to work with various electronic systems including Microsoft Office applications Demonstrates knowledge of OPWDD Regulations, including 633 and 624/625, and the ability to interpret said regulations.
SALARY:
