INSPECTOR JOB DESCRIPTION

Schedules:

First Shift:

11pm

• 7am / Sunday night
• Thursday night (Friday morning)

Second Shift:

7am

• 3pm / Monday

• Friday Third Shift:

  3 pm

• 11 pm / Monday

Friday Wage:

$19.00 per hour Prior steel mill or industrial furnace experience (preferred) Tow motor and crane experience (required) Insurance Benefits start 1 st day of employment

Verifies all bars in order comply with customer requirements for length, widths, thickness and surface finish and hardness. Visually inspects bars for compliance with Quality Workmanship Standards QS-038. Properly marks individual identification on each bar. Properly records all information on the Final Dimensional Report Form. Able to read and understand work instructions. Assists shipper as required. Able to stand for long periods of time.

measuring tape, micrometers, profilometer, air polisher, scale, no-touch tools, crane, tow motor.
