Electrical QAQC Representative (Data Centers) 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars Philadelphia, PA 19019 Job Overview We are recruiting for two Electrical QAQC Representatives to help oversee data center builds in the Philadelphia area. This is a monitoring position that will oversee 3rd party QAQC crews on-site. It’s an initial 1-year W2 contract with benefits and opportunities for renewals or FTE based off job performance. Monday-Friday 40-hour work weeks, no OT required. Drive resolution of Quality Control (QC) issues.
This will require:
1. Review of construction documents, client process requirements, and related correspondence including contractors reporting. 2. Participation in the Contractor’s (QC) process and identification and resolution of process deficiencies including missing actions or inaccurate reporting. 3. Review of work in the field for compliance with project requirements and escalation and resolution of field quality issues. 4. Monitoring of Cx processes and identification issues in the contractor’s execution that may cause delays or deficiencies; escalation of these issues and facilitation of their resolution. Track and respond to issues related to Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) and major components of Contractor Furnished (CFCI) equipment processes posing a risk to the Owner and project.
This will require:
1. Attending all meetings related to the OFCI and high-risk to the CFCI process. 2. Reviewing OFCI bills of Materials (BOMs), submittals, and correspondence. 3. Reviewing the client OFCI receipt and pre-Commissioning (Cx) requirements and ensuring the Contractors are in full compliance. Assisting client in the review of billing from OFCI vendors by cross referencing invoices with documented receipts and inspections. 4. Reviewing the client OFCI and CFCI protection requirements and Contractor-submitted plans and ensuring the contractors are in full compliance. 5. Facilitating contractor coordination of OFCI deliveries as needed by escalating or resolving issues with site access or OFCI vendor performance. 6. Ensuring missing or damaged equipment is identified and issues are escalated to the client CM and other parties as directed. Monitor and facilitate or direct resolve open items.
