Toolmaker (Jig and Fixture) Pinellas Park, FL 33782 System Oneis seeking a Tool and Die Maker to be responsible for using a rangeof materials, including metals, fiberglass, thermal plastics, andother fabrication materials, to create and maintain both soft andhard tooling for manufacturing processes. This is a greatopportunity to join a highly respected defense contractor in theaerospace industry!

12-month contractopportunity Pay rate up to $30/hr. Salary will be commensurate withexperience.

4 10’s (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM) Weekly payBenefits after 30 days (health insurance, dental insurance, visioninsurance, etc.) 401k after 30 days Job offer will be contingent ondrug screen and background check Responsibilities andQualifications Repairs and fabricates dies and metal tools for ourmanufacturing facility. In this role, you will be required tointerpret designs, cut and shape tools and dies, and assemble thecompleted parts. Read and interpret blueprints, design schematics,and CAD drawings. Visualizing and computing metal shapes andtolerances. Design jigs and templates as work aids in thefabrication of tools. Measuring and marking metal stock formachining. Setting up and operating machine tools such as drills,lathes, grinders, and milling machines. Cutting and shaping blocksto specified dimensions. Filling, grinding, and shimming metals toensure a smooth finish. Fitting and assembling tools and die parts.

Inspecting finished dies and form tools for defects, smoothness,and contour deformities. In-depth knowledge of machine tools andtheir uses. Excellent attention to detail. Advanced troubleshootingskills. Sets up and runs CNC machining centers. Apprenticeship orequivalent training and experience. Highly motivated team player.
