Skilled Mig Welders 2.9 2.9 out of 5 stars Itawamba County, MS Job Summary We are seeking skilled Flex Core Mig Welders to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and have experience in various welding techniques. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding components according to specifications, ensuring adherence to industry codes and standards. Your role will involve working on forklifts and any other equipment as advised. Responsibilities Fabricate metal components by cutting, shaping, and assembling materials based on blueprints and project specifications. Perform Mig welding and other welding techniques to join metal parts securely. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements. Ensure all welds meet quality standards and comply with relevant codes and regulations. Operate forklifts safely to transport materials around the worksite as needed. Conduct routine maintenance checks on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining a safe work environment. Assist in pipe threading tasks as required for various projects. Requirements Safety is always first! Proven experience as a Mig Welder with expertise in Flex Core Mig welding techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various welding equipment. Familiarity with blueprint reading and understanding of construction site protocols. Knowledge of industry codes and standards related to welding practices. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to safety practices is a MUST and maintaining a clean work area.
